On the 19th September PJ planned to join the other 53,999 runners in the Bupa 30th Great North Run - THE most iconic half-marathon on the planet!
However, PJ's running partner lost his mum to cancer and was not able to run - so PJ did the Lymington half-marathon dressed as a banana in his honour!
"Remember, fruit is mother nature's fast food"
The money raised went to Champion Behaviours, a charity which was set up to deliver motivational workshops to young people aged 11-16 years old who are in danger of exclusion from school and society.
PJ created Champion Behaviours as a way of directly helping to re-engage disaffected young people - promoting inclusion - and improving attendance, classroom behaviour and social skills, whilst reducing crime, fear of crime and anti social behaviour in our community. |
